A fun and futuristic way to discover Budapest would be taking the Budapest Segway Tour. The Segway tour uses a two wheel vehicle which you can control with your body movement and each individual receives their own segway. Some
cities use these segways as a mode of transportation, here they’re used to show off Budapest’s main attractions.
Not only are you getting the chance to see Budapest but you are also having fun riding the Segway through the city. Before the tour begins, a 30 minute training is given to help ensure safety and make everyone comfortable, even though the tour is taken along the pedestrian part of the streets.
The tour will take you to the inner part of the pest side, downtown Budapest. You can choose from a 1.5 hr or 2.5 hr tour. Both options take you to the Danube, so you have a great view of the danube promenade, the castle district, the chain bridge, Roosevelt square and more. The longer tour takes you to other sites including St. Stephen’s Basilica, the Hungarian State Opera House and the Grand Boulevard of Andrassy. Next you’ll cruise through Vorosmarty Square and the Vaci Walking District.
