Jewish Budapest Tour

Just like other cities around the world, Budapest has a Jewish part with its own unique atmosphere and buildings. If you want to see the Hungarian capital from a different perspective, go on a tour which will guide you through the phenomena’s that make this part of Budapest special.

A drive along the Danube to visit the World War II victim’s memorial at St. Stephen’s Park. will be the starting point of this 3-hour Jewish Budapest guided tour.

After a visit at the park, the tour will continue to the former middle class Jewish District, New Leopold Town. Here, you will get to see the world’s second largest Synagogue, the Dohany Street Synagogue. Other stops during the tour are the Tree of Life, the Jewish garden, the Temple of the Heroes and the Jewish museum.

To finish your tour, you can have a lunch in a Kosher restaurant. If you feel that you want to experience more about the Jewish history, the terror house is something that can give you more insight about how it was during one of mankind’s darkest periods.
